NetSetGO incorporates skill activities, minor games, music, dance and modified matches in a fun and safe environment. The weekly program is coordinated by accredited coaches to ensure a quality experience for all participants.
The program consists of 2 tiers – “Net” and “Set”. The ages mentioned with each tier are not strict, more of a guideline for parents, centres and coaches.
Net (5-7 years) Activity/Skills
Set (8-10 years) Activity/Skills
Learn netball related fundamental motor skills with fun games and skills sessions.
The skills taught include:
• Balance and co-ordination
• Movement
• Jumping/Hopping/Leaping
• Catching
• Throwing
• Footwork (Basic netball skills)
• Introduction to the game of netball
With an emphasis on FUN.
All new participants receive a NetSetGO participant pack - NetSetGo t-shirt, size 4 Gilbert netball and a participation medal.
The cost for NetSetGO is $60 (includes Netball Victoria membership and player insurance) plus the Club's fees.

- Participants can wear anything you feel that they will be comfortable in but should be dressed for activities so runners, t-shirt, shorts or leggings are recommended. On cold days they also need a warm top that is easily removable (once they warm up).
- Bring a drink bottle.
- Sessions run for approximately 45 minutes.
Go (8-10 years) Competition
Be part of modified netball games with a focus on fun and teamwork
The Go (8-10 years) Competition program is incorporated into our 9 & Under competition. Entry into this competition is completed through our clubs. Please contact your local club to join a team in the 9 & Under competition. Contact details can be found under the "Clubs" links above.
Matches are played on a Saturday morning between 8:30 am and 10:00 am (TBC).
We have two seasons , Winter and Spring. Winter is a 20 week season starting early March and finishing early September. Spring is a 9-10 week season starting early October and finishing mid December.
Players can register at anytime during the year through their club. Click the Club tab above for a full list of clubs and their contact information.
